CHERRY VACATIONS IN NEW HAMPSHIRE

Cherry went with AFBrat and Hubby to New Hampshire for some rest, relaxation and letterboxing.  The leaves are starting to change and Cherry thought they were really pretty.  She really enjoyed hiking Mount Willard and finding some great boxes.  Here she is signing in on the Eisenhower Wayside Park box. 

Cherry made a new friend when we found the Happy Hiker box on the top of Wildcat Mountain.  Luckily we had just eaten lunch so Cherry wasn't tempted to make a meal out of him!

Cherry Goes Rock Climbing!

Cherry had so much fun climbing the rocks up to the Red Rock/Hermit Crab box.  We did have to carry her over the larger rocks because of her kinda short legs!  When we found the box there was a huge spider sitting on it so we sent Hubby in after it!  Here's Cherry and her friend Chloe cheering Hubby on as he battles the ferocious spider.  

After we found the box Cherry found a nice pine tree to roost in for awhile.  I think she was trying to hide, but you can't miss her bright yellow feathers!

Cherry's Trip to Vermont

Cherry and her friend Chloe the Kitty had a wonderful time exploring Stowe and Burlington, Vermont over Labor Day weekend.  Cherry got to ride a gondola to the top of Mount Mansfield.  She said,  "it was just like flying"!  While in Vermont Cherry got to stamp into four boxes.

   

Here's Cherry finishing up her ice cream at Ben and Jerry's.  I think she was a little sick after eating all that!  It took quite a while to get all the sticky chocolate out of her feathers!

  Cherry and I went letterboxing after work today.  We found two boxes in Arlington, Massachusetts.  She was a big help finding the Turkey Hill box because I got a little lost in the woods!  She got us on the right trail.  She's having a lot of fun playing with Chloe the Kitty and looking forward to boxing in Vermont this weekend. 

Cherry Arrives in Massachusetts!!!!!

I'm so excited to welcome Cherry to Massachusetts!  She is such a sweet little yellow bird and so eager to meet new people and find those boxes.  When she arrived she met fellow boxing buddy Chloe the Kitty.

Chloe loves to play UNO and immediately challenged Cherry to a game.  I think they played all night because I heard a lot of giggling!  I know Cherry is eager to letterbox and I assured her we would be boxing in Vermont this weekend and maybe squeeze in a box if AFBrat gets off of work early this week!
 

Cherry is headed to Massachusetts!

LeafMonkey just told me that I am heading to Massachusetts to visit AFBrat for my first journey! I am are so excited! I am packing my bags, and getting my logbook and stamp together for the trip! :) It sounds like I will be very busy while we are there boxing with them!

Cherry the Chick is a yellow chick, of course. She loves meeting new people and of course-Letter boxing! She is very friendly with kids and adults! Cherry loves to go to new places too.
